FootCast Experiment
Hello.
This is a footbag video podcast experiment. Lon Smith’s 30 second shred from SJFF4.
Will iTunes subscribe to a video feed? Will I have to use DTV or maybe Fireant?
UPDATE:
Yeah, that worked
iTunes doesn’t like it
But DTV does. Go get it (or Fireant if you’re on windoze) and subscribe to our feed!! Hint: http://feeds.feedburner.com/freedomfootbags

AWESOME!!! I’m such a huge iPod nerd. Saddly i don’t have an iPod video, but i’ve been waiting for a footbag podcast or something for a while now and i’m really stoked you guys have chosen to do this. Any thoughts about there possibly being a freedom podcast, recapping big events and giving us the scoop on the inside info as to who’s breaking ground and what not?

I think this concept is going to take a little bit to catch on because of A) the technical hurdle and B) the fact that I don’t have much time to devote to it. I don’t suppose you’d be interested in joining the team here and helping us out? I could give an account and you could upload videos and post about ‘em? Just a thought, if you’re interested drop me an email.
As for an audio podcast, that’s something that I definitely don’t have the time (or particular desire to do), but I’ll poke and prod Daryl into seeing if he’d be interested in learning how … how about it, D?
I actually tried to hook up a modified video podcast feed using the feedburner service and the RSS feeds from it, but it seems that podcast’s, much like myself, hate WMV files and that’s all anyone seems to publish in these days … the quicktime files come through OK. Here’s the feed I created:

It’s *just* the video forum.
Anyhow, back to making the Brothers From Different Mothers new website
Peace!!

[...] Continuing the experiment, I have taken Jorden Moir’s latest video "Lethal Weapon" and converted it into a the format sutiable for playing on an iPod. The conversion actually came out much better than I anticipated; while the resolution is only half of the original file, the file size is correspondingly half the size as well, while still retaing a very nice quality picture and sound.
