New Unofficial World Record
New Unofficial World Record
I was a bit embarrassed over being the only person to drop the footbag at our demonstration during a school assembly last week . I dropped a double around the world, a trick I can hit very easily. So I did my best to make up for it today by breaking the “double around the world” record. I did the trick muted* and crispy** rather than original recipe**, so it could be argued that this is not beating the original “double around the world” record, but rather creating a new record category. The record now stands at 23. You can see the old record at Lon Smith’s Unofficial World Record List.
*A muted trick is one in which the set foot does not touch the ground after the original dexterity. Such as a muted pixie or muted fairy. In this particular case I the trick was muted pixie-style.
**A crispy style dexterity is where the bag circles the upper part of the leg during the uptime dexterity, whereas with original recipe the dexterity is done with the lower part of the leg.
