In a time when veterans are all too quickly forgotten, Peter Irish reminds us that some players and their contributions are in fact timeless. Here we present a video of Peter’s incredible hand-foot juggling, filmed and edited by Eliot Piltz.
I had the special honor of being given a sneak-peek of this video a few months ago, and was is it ever hard not to open my mouth about it!
Peter Irish has always been one of my favorite players. I can’t count the hours that I spent at the University of Victoria computer labs downloading Peter’s videos from Footbag Worldwide. I watched him round-for-round at the 1997 World Footbag Championships, and his preliminary-round performance is still one of my favorite routines of all time.
At 2000 Worlds, I finally got to meet Pete (green peppers are very useful!), and I am happy to say that he has been a good friend ever since. He still makes it out the SJFF, like, every year, and it’s always great to see him. They don’t call him “Sweet Pete” for nothin’

My best wishes go out to my good friend Pete! He’s currently showing off his skills at the 60th Annual International Juggler’s Association Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. With these talents Peter has a good chance at securing the World Title for 2007.
