Seattle Juggling and Footbag Festival 2005
This weekend is the 4th Annual Seattle Juggling and Footbag Festival!! I think the entire Freedom Footbags crew is making it out again this year, including Daryl, Sunny (hopefully Dylan and Cameron?), Jim Penske and hopefully myself.
Last year was AWESOME and this year is shaping up to be even better. Here’s the list of attendee’s so far:
- Peter Irish
- Lon Smith
- Jorden Moir
- Ellis Piltz
- Caroline Bourgoin
- Allan Haggett
- Red Husted
- Nate Linscott
- James Erickson
- Noah Jay-Bonn
- Jim Penske
- Daryl Genz
- Sunny Genz
- Aaron Greg
- Ben West
And of course, from Seattle…
- Justin Dale
- Ricky Moran
- Matt Baker
- Jane Zerbe
- Alex Zerbe
- And the rest of Rain City Shred and the Cascade Jugglers!
SJFF is a unique concept as a gathering in that they attempt to bring together the juggling community with the footbag community in a casual setting with some light-hearted competition thrown in for fun and then, to top the weekend off, they put on an amazing variety show featuring local and shipped-in talent of all types at a public and well-advertised theatre! The highlight of the show for me has always been checking out Peter Irish’s latest offering — blowing everyone’s mind as he truly lives up to the show’s name: Using All Four Limbs.
Check out the official website for more details: http://www.all4limbs.com
Do what you need to do to make it out to this year’s event!! See you there.

[...] What with gearing up for school, travelling to SJFF4, planning on the Brothers From Different Mothers website redesign, grieving for my Aunt and getting the new design for this place done, I’ve not really had much time or even the desire to play any footbag. [...]

I’ve been to every SJFF, from when I was a new shredder on a scene, till now when I love hoping into the circles with the headliners…. SJFF will not be an event I EVER miss, and freedom footags always end up in several of the circles I play in. GET ONE!
