Shred for Savvy Event Raises Awareness
Adrienne Dukes of College Park, Maryland recently held a charity event to raise money for Savannah Anselmo, a young girl whose family is in need of funds to help cover the cost of a liver transplant.
The event raised about $500 in funds for Savvy, and we’d like to encourage everyone to support her as well. You can read her whole story and help contribute on Savannah Anselmo’s website.
Part of the charity event was included a footbag tournament which drew some of the top competitors on the East Coast, including Gorden “Flash” Bevier of State College, PA.
Flash had some tough competition from Ken Somolinos of Ithica, NY. Both players had one-drop two minute routines, making it a very close match. Flash took the victory and won the top prize, a FREE pair of Quantum02 Footbag Shoes, courtesy of Freedom Footbags.

I need to bookmark this blog or something. You write so much about so many awesome footbag happenings! Do you still play a lot, Allan?

Oh, I assumed every post was by Allan, but I see now. Question still stands though.
