Testing iPhone post
Just testing to see what it’s like to post to the blog from my iPhone.
I’m thinking about starting to micro-blog during sessions a little more, and although Twitter (or something like it) is probably more appropriate, this is one way I could post …

I had the 1st gen. iPhone, which I jailbroke and unlocked, and it was all good. I have since upgraded to 3G, however, and don’t see much reason to jailbreak this one.
You can jailbreak the new one to install unofficial third party apps; you just can’t unlock them to work on just any carrier (yet).
With all the apps available in the AppStore, I just don’t see much a need to jailbreak unless I can find an IM client that does proper push notification (not as a background process). There are a couple of other apps that I miss (Touchpad rocks), but I’m not voiding my warranty over them.
Anyhow, thanks for your comment
