Trials (Extreme/Street) Footbag
A lot of people who are watching the sport of freestyle footbag for the fist time often think that players are just doing a very few tricks over and over. While sometimes this is the case, this is often far from the actual truth of the matter. It takes many, many hours of studying footbag (or anything for that matter) to really appreciate and follow it. I often hear comments from curious passers-by along the lines of, “Can you do that one trick where you throw your leg around it and then catch it?” At this point I generally hold back my laughter, and say “Yes” as the short answer. But the truth is this oversimplified view of some arbitrary single trick literally applies to over 1000 different freestyle tricks. However, there is one form of freestyle footbag called “Trials” that stands alone in it’s uniqueness. Rather than trying to explain trials, we’ll just show them to you…
