WRC Footbag – Massive Tricks
A video with some big tricks we managed to hit on two sessions. Players: Arek Dudziński, Olaf Piwowar and Szymon Kałwak.
This video is crammed full of really-cool-and-incredibly-complex moves that are guaranteed to make you want to grab the Quantum’s (Lavers, goonits, what-have-you) and hit the pitch
You should also check out “Free Session”, another video with these guys and more great shredders. Props guys; keep bustin’.
This one is also being discussed on modified.
On the “Massive Tricks” video, check out the “Green Eggs and Ham” that Ners hits at 31 seconds in (nice!); I’m relatively sure that I was the first one to hit that move back in ’02 or ’03. Alex Zerbe and Matt Baker (and I think Ben West) were present at the time, and though I can’t remember which one of them suggested it (guys?), in my mind I called it that as a way of poking fun of all the ridiculous names that freestyle moves have been given. It will always simply be a stepping-ducking-paradox-symposium-twirl to me
The only other move I ever hit “first” (I think) would probably be Double Inspinning Osis (15MB Quicktime MOV file; the “D-I-osis” is about halfway through; man, was that over three years ago?!) Quick Reader Poll: Is DIosis a 900°, or 1080°? (please leave your opinion in comments)
