The Bear Bag is a handcrafted 32 panel footbag made for intermediate to advanced play. This footbag is excellent for freestyle! It is easy to stall and set consistently. Bear Bags are 1.5 inches in diameter and weigh approximately 2.2 oz. They come in two styles, facile and hybrid (a combination of facile and micro-suede), and they come in a variety of colors and patterns.
Footbag artisan Brian "Bear" Sherrill hails from Mountain View, California. Brian was inspired to start stitching when he was browsing through a local fabric store and found some crazy looking material, micro-suede. Upon further inspection, he found that it was quite grippy, shiny, and thin...PERFECT for a footbag. Bear Bags are regular size (about the size of a golf ball), high to medium gather, low bite (how deep the stitching goes), and durable!
The hybrids have very high gather to compensate for the floppiness that comes from the microsuede. This allows the bag to be round and stally at the same time. Filler: non-toxic metal, and a combination of light space fill. Most bags are about half to three quarters full.
